We live as a sustainable community with the intention of ecologicalresponsibilityrooted in harmony with nature.

We are a village learning and growing as family and friends.  We embrace this community as our home; it is warm and welcoming, vibrant, creative and trusting. We value fun above work, because fun encourages participation, builds relationships, and feeds the soul.

In accordance with our vision, we honor the ideas, diversity, and strengths of each individual in service of the common good.

We recognize that there is more than one solution to most problems, and we value making decisions efficiently.

We strongly encourage participation in all aspects of community life.

Site & Community

Lyons Valley Village hosts 18 Craftsman Style residences and a 2,200 square foot Common House, which has a children's playroom, gourmet kitchen, dining hall, sitting room and guest room. Our 2 acre sustainable community is nestled alongside established gravel pathways, trailheads, open space and the St. Vrain River. The serene location enables recreational opportunities from one’s front door as well as a simple commute to Boulder, Denver, Longmont or Estes Park.

Each home is intentionally sited for ample views of the Common House, common green, and the sandstone hills to the west. Efficient, green built construction, water wise landscaping, and pedestrian dominant design principals enhance the natural beauty of the site and offer a viable alternative to unsustainable sprawl.

As a socially responsible and collaborative group, Lyons Valley Village residents are dedicated to the belief that all individuals, living things, and the physical world are unique and valuable. Community members become part of an extended family where everyone is heard, understood and respected. The harmonizing physical and social philosophies of Lyons Valley Village make the community sustainable in every respect.
